Tony Yayo Agrees With 50 Cent's Take On Eminem vs. JAY-Z

Tony Yayo doubles down on 50 Cent’s comments on Eminem vs JAY-Z.

Tony Yayo was the recent guest on DJ Vlad’s VLAD TV, where the former G-Unit emcee weighs in on 50 Cent’s take that Eminem has a bigger impact on hip-hop than JAY-Z. Yayo also sided with the Detroit rapper, while giving props to Hov’s greatness.

“I mean, for me, I would say I’d agree ’cause he made the biggest impact on my career,” Yayo said about Eminem. “For me, I look at Eminem — I mean, any artist that sells 16 million records, that’s number one.”

He continued, “But I can see why people put JAY-Z number one ’cause, you know, this guy rhymed with Biggie Smalls, he rhymed with Biggie back and forth, ‘Hard Knock Life,’ filled out arenas. Can’t take no accolades from JAY-Z or Eminem.”

“But I don’t know. When you look at these lists, to me, it’s hard to really figure out who’s number one, who’s this, who’s that. But as long as you’re on the list, I guess it’s all good,” he added.

Just recently, Fifty also snapped at Melle Mel who stated that Eminem is only top 5 of all time because he’s white. “There was more money selling dope than being in Hip Hop when Melly Mel was popping, the culture has grown so much. I am not sure if it would be what it is today with out artist like Eminem. Sh*t I am not sure I would be who I am with out him but you know it is competitive so ni**as gonna hate. LOL f**k outta here ! We s**ker free.”
