The Kunts have launched new festive single ‘Fuck The T*ries’.
The band – formerly Kunt And The Gang – are stalwarts of London’s underground punk community, and have developed a habit of flooding the Christmas charts with sweaty protest songs.
Last year The Kunts went neck and neck with LadBaby and his sausage-roll themed outing – and came close to causing an upset.
New single ‘Fuck The T*ries’ sees the band very much back on-brand, with the song said to be a “barbed but factually accurate protest song shining a light in simplest terms on 12 years of Conservative corruption, lies and incompetence”.
In all, it contains 69 f-words across its two minute and 18 seconds span. The previous record for a Christmas Number 1 is 14 – in Rage Against The Machine’s 2009 hit ‘Killing In The Name Of’.

There’s a slight dig at LadBaby in there, too, with head-honcho Kunt telling Metro that he likes to keep his lyrics “open to interpretation as to which seedy fanny rat sausage roll charity millionaire I’m referring to…”
He continued: “That said, it’s one who wasn’t a millionaire before he started making charity records and who has used food banks, hunger, and despair to hawk downloads and flog sausage roll-related tat.”
The two acts had a press spat in the run up to last year’s Christmas countdown. LadBaby has yet to comment on The Kunts’ current effort.
‘Fuck The T*ries’ will be released on December 16th.
