SZA's New Album "SOS" Topped Charts In Fourth Straight Week

SZA’s “SOS” is the #1 album in the fourth straight week.

SZA continues her historical run on Billboard 200 as her new album “SOS” earns #1 status in the fourth straight week. The project which already moved over 1 million units in the US, debuted with 315,000 album-equivalent units in the first week. This was highest ever debut for SZA on US Charts, as her debut album “Ctrl” peaked at #3 with 60,000 equivalent units upon its release in 2017.

SZA’s album now becomes the first R&B album by a female artist to spend the first four weeks on the US Billboard chart at #1 this century, since Janet Jackson’s “Janet” in 1993.

“I don’t have sh*t to say but thank you to God my ancestors my family my team and ALL OF YOU THAT RIDE FOR ME ! ESPECIALLY CAMP!!” she wrote on her social. “Y’all my family too [white heart emoji] we have so much more to come.”

On her post, she received love from Kehlani, Alicia Keys, Ty Dolla Sign, Mike Will Made It, Chloe Bailey, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Benny Blanco, TDE Punch, Victoria Monet and more.
