Snoop Dogg Introduces New Project ‘The Algorithm’ | News

Snoop Dogg has introduced plans for new project ‘The Algorithm’.

The project launches on his 50th birthday – Happy Birthday, Snoop! – and is his first release on Def Jam Recordings.

New single ‘Big Subwoofer’ is online now, and it’s the work of brand new super-group Mount Westmore – featuring Snoop, Ice Cube, E-40, and Too Short.

A burst of West Coast energy, Snoop aims to use this line up to overhaul digital music.

“There’s so much talent on this record,” said Snoop in a statement, “so many styles of music, it breaks the algorithm. Right now, the algorithm is telling us you have to rap this way, you have to sound this way, but they’re not telling you how it’s supposed to feel. My algorithm is going to give you a feeling, not a sound.”

‘Big Subwoofer’ is out now, and it features some outer space themed visuals – check it out below.
