East Yorkshire risers Priestgate have shared their new single ‘Bedtime Story’.
Out now, the track comes as the band prepare for a Live At Leeds set, with a London show to follow at the Sebright Arms on November 4th.
New single ‘Bedtime Story’ comes as Priestgate sign to Lucky Number, with a full EP set to land early next year.
The five-piece open in shimmering guitar pop landscapes, before ‘Bedtime Story’ is transformed into something rather more surreal, barbed, and creative.
Vocalist Rob Schofield explains:
“‘Bedtime Story’ is about coming to the realisation that all that’s really yours is your own time. Love, friends, and money will come and go, but you’re always going to be stuck with yourself. Nothing really matters when you’re asleep.”
The video takes Priestgate to their sleepy East Yorkshire hometown Driffield, shot in a bedroom laden with vinyl and vintage posters.
