NBA Youngboy Has Signed A Deal With Motown Records

NBA Youngboy joins Motown Records label.

NBA Youngboy is no longer a free agent as the Baton Rouge rapper signed a deal with Universal Music Group-owned Motown Records. The rapper has been working with the label for a year as a collaboration for his Never Broke Again Collective.

“I felt like I had a responsibility to my artists to make sure to find the right partner for my label,” he said last year. “I’m looking forward working with Ethiopia, Kenoe and Motown Records.”

The new deal comes after the rapper’s recent departure from Atlantic Records, after dropping his one of the latest albums “The Last Slimeto“. After leaving the label, NBA reportedly declined a $60 million offer from Atlantic.

It is reported that Youngboy will start releasing new music through the label in 2023. This month, NBA Youngboy dropped two new projects, a DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz album titled “Ma’ I Got A Family”, and a project called “3800 Degrees”.
