Metro Boomin Earns Third #1 Album On Billboard 200 With "Heroes & Villains"

Metro Boomin tops Billboard with the new album “Heroes & Villains”.

The first week numbers for Metro Boomin’s latest project are here, and the producer has topped the charts in the US. The new album “Heroes & Villains” earned Boomin the biggest week of his career, as it moved 185,000 equivalent album units. The project debuted at #1 with 233.38 million on-demand streams, with 5,000 pure sales.

This is his third number 1 debut on US Billboard 200, after 2018’s “Not All Heroes Wear Capes” and 2020’s “Savage Mode II“ collab effort with 21 Savage.

The album is one of the fan-favourite hip-hop efforts this year, featuring music from Travis Scott, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Future, ASAP Rocky, Chris Brown, Don Toliver and more. Boomin also dropped a short film in support of the project, with appearances from Morgan Freeman, Young Thug, Gunna and more.

Taylor Swift’s new project “Midnights” charted at #2 this week with 143,000 sales, followed by Drake and 21 Savage’s “Her Loss” in third with 78,000 equivalent units.
