Lil Wayne praises Kanye West on the All The Smoke podcast.
Kanye West has been in the news for the past year due to his controversial takes and statement. While many musicians try to distance themselves from the rapper, the Yeezy mogul receives praise from one of the hip-hop greats Lil Wayne.
Weezy recently made an appearance on former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s All the Smoke podcast, where he was asked to give his thoughts on Donda rapper. “He’s a genius… What I mean by that is he can stop being Kanye West at any time and start being Kanye East and be the best at that as well,” said Wayne. “He’s a genius when it comes to music. Whatever route he wanna go, he’s gonna be packing arenas.”
Ye has been away from the public eye for some time now, but the rapper recently made a few appearances with his wife Bianca Censori. The rapper was also spotted shooting a music video for his 2021 track “Off The Grid”, which featured Fivio Foreign and Playboi Carti. Ye’s daughter was also at the location as she herself handles the camera job, while Kanye raps aggressively at the camera.
