
Kodak Black helps over two dozen families with rent in Pompano Beach.
Kodak Black continues helping the people of his hometown as the rapper now pays rent for families that were facing eviction. The Florida rapper shared on his Instagram story that he paid the rent for around 28 families for the end of the year.
“28 families was bout to get evicted for being behind on their rent a few months,” Kodak wrote on his IG Story. “I paid what they owed and also paid their rents for the next few months, so they good for the [remainder] of the year.” The families that received help from the “Zeze” rapper live at the Merry Place Housing Projects in West Palm Beach.
The Pompano Beach-born artist had been helping the families of his hometown since last year, as he previously gave air conditioners [100 Units] worth $12,500 to the residents at the Golden Acres Projects. “We out here passing out AC units, helping install them,” Kodak said in a video at the time. “We do it for the projects, we do it for the projects. The people relying on just enough cash to survive. We’ll get you all ACs man, we out here.”
