JAY-Z’s Still Richest Rapper As His Net Worth Jumps To $2.5 Billion

Forbes reveals JAY-Z’s updated net worth.

Forbes has revealed the live update of the world’s richest people, as according to the platform, JAY-Z’s net worth has increased to a whopping $2.5 billion. The rapper and businessman currently sit at number 1203 as the world’s wealthiest person.

Hov’s net worth has increased from $1.5 billion to $2.5 billion in less than a year. In the list of Hip-Hop’s richest artists in October last year, JAY-Z was named number one, followed by Diddy at $1 billion, Kanye West and $500 million, Berner at $410 million and Dr. Dre at $400 million.

Even in a year without a tour or album release, Jay-Z mints millions from his Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Usse cognac. Last month, D’Usse’s parent company Bacardi agreed to buy JAY-Z’s 50% stake for around $750 million.
