JAY-Z Applaud Rihanna Ahead Of 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance: "A Generational Talent"

JAY-Z reacts to Rihanna headlining the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.

As announced yesterday, Rihanna is named as the headliner for next year’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show, which will take place on February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

After the celebration from fans and wishes from fellow artists, now JAY-Z, whose Roc Nation team is the executive producers and strategic entertainment advisors for the NFL, now also salutes Riri. “Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn,” said JAY-Z in a statement released by Roc Nation.

He continued, “A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment.”

Just the other day, the 2022 Super Bowl halftime headliner Dr. Dre also applauded Rihanna. “Oh, my God. Let me tell you something, man. I actually just got the news that Rihanna’s going to do [Super Bowl Halftime Show] and I’m a super fan of Rihanna,” he said in a new interview with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1. “I can’t wait to see what she’s going to do. I just like her and what she does, and her get down, and how she approaches her artistry and the whole nine. It’s fantastic. She has the opportunity to really blow us away. I know we set the bar extremely high.”

On February 12, 2023, the Super Bowl will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The 2019 half-time show will be supported by Apple Music instead of Pepsi, which has sponsored it for years.

Rihanna was also asked to perform at the 2019 Halftime Show, but she declined out of support for Colin Kaepernick.

Rihanna now follows up this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, which was headlined by Hip-Hop greats Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent.
