Interplanetary Criminal has shared his new mixtape ‘All Thru The Night’ in full.
The mixtape is steeped in UKG lore, aiming to blend some all-out greats with a raft of fresh talent. Out now on Locked On, the involvement of the seminal UK garage stable is only apt – it began as a means of documenting underground London sounds, and stemmed from the vital Pure Groove Records shop.
‘All Thru The Night’ is a wide-ranging release, 15 tracks that emphasise the continued vitality of UKG as a club sound. Moving from speed garage to slick 2-step via some dulcet R&B aspects, it’s an entirely new selection of musical creativity, including Main Phase, Bakey, High-rise, and more.
Garage godfather Todd Edwards doubles up alongside Interplanetary Criminal on the new release, the two producers combining on mixtape standout ‘Reckless’. Blessed with vocals from Lily McKenzie, it’s a superb dose of spring-laden dancefloor mayhem.
