Ice Spice continues Billboard domination with Taylor Swift collab.
In just a short span of time, Ice Spice already became one of the dominant music figures. The “Boy’s a Liar” hitmaker earned a new milestone on Billboard in 2023 that was achieved by no other artist.
According to Billboard, the Bronx rapper now achieved more Hot 100 Top 5 hits this year than any other musician. Spice recently collaborated with pop star Taylor Swift on the new version of “Karma“, which earned them the #2 spot on the charts. Last month, she also had the biggest streaming debut for a female rapper with the new Swift collab. The track also earned the biggest streaming day of her career, with 10.5 million plays on May 26.
This is Spice’s third top 5 hit on the Hot 100 in 2023, as she previously earned #3 spot with PinkPantheress collab “Boy’s A Liar”, and the number four spot on the charts with Nicki Minaj collab “Princess Diana” remix.

In a conversation with Spotify about the collaboration, Taylor said: “Collaborating with Ice Spice on ‘Karma’ was one of the most natural things. She reached out through her team, just kind of saying ‘Hey, you know, Ice has been a big fan of Taylor since she was a little kid. [We] would love to collaborate if that was ever something that came about.’”
