21 Savage comments on Nas’ relevancy.
21 Savage is on the promo run for his new collab album “Her Loss” with Drake, which earned him his third chart-topper on Billboard 200. The UK-born rapper made an appearance on Clubhouse, where he made some remarks about the relevancy of hip-hop greats, including Nas.
“Ni**as saying all that longevity talk, name somebody from back then who can drop an album right now?” was asked in the conversation, which prompts names like Jay-Z, E-40, Scarface, Too Short and others.
Savage responded to Nas’ name and said, “I don’t feel like he’s relevant. He’s not relevant, I just feel like he just has a loyal a*s fanbase & he still makes good music.”

Nas is still giving us consistent music, and just released his back-to-back third part of the “King’s Disease” album series with Hit-Boy. It looks like the producer saw the comments from Savage, as he seemingly responds with Nas’ quote. “we know that controversy sells so yall good , when i drop they hear me on every block hood2hood” – NAS”, he tweets. “shout to the real ones like us it’s a shortage it seems..” he said on another tweet.

KXNG Crooked also responds with a couple of posts, “A loyal fan base > mainstream relevance.” “I keep saying this.. Longevity isn’t celebrated enough in our culture,” he wrote.
