Eminem Feature In Chuck D's New 'Fight The Power' Documentary

Chuck D’s “Fight The Power” docu-series premiers on BBC 2.

“Fight The Power: How Hip Hop Changed The World”, the new four-part docu-series by Chuck D finally released on BBC. The series by Public Enemy frontman shows the profound impact of Hip-Hop on American culture and socio-political perspectives.

“The hip-hop community has, from the start, been doing what the rest of media is only now catching up to,” said Chuck D. “Long before any conglomerate realized it was time to wake up, Hip-Hop had been speaking out and telling truths. Working with PBS and BBC is an opportunity to deliver these messages through new ways and help explain hip hop’s place in history and hopefully inspire us all to take it further.”

The series features clips and interviews from the likes of Eminem, B-Real, DMC, KRS-One, LL Cool J, Ice-T, Fat Joe, Lupe Fiasco and more.

“I know rappers will always be attacked by politicians though,” says Eminem. “A lot of it was just to push buttons regardless. And for you to take a lot of these lyrics seriously is like, you’re a f**king idiot.”
