Drake Responds To 'Honestly, Nevermind' Criticism | News

Drake has given a guarded response to criticism of his new album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’.

The new release finds Drake leaning on house production, working extensively with the producer Black Coffee.

Out now, the sharp aesthetic about-turn split fans, with Drake discourse flooding across social media.

In a clip surfacing from his album release party, Drake seems to recognise and respond to these critics, while hinting at his next step.

He says: “It’s all good if you don’t get it yet. It’s all good. That’s what we do. That’s what we do, we wait for you to catch up. We’re in here though, we caught up already. On to the next. My goodness!”

Elsewhere, Drake has spoken about his future plans, helming the first episode of his SiriusXM show Table For One. In it, he says he’s “got another ‘Scary Hours’ pack coming” before adding: “I’m gonna slap some head tops off with the ‘Scary Hours’ pack. I love this shit.”

The first ‘Scary Hours’ EP landed in 2018, and contains undeniable Drake classics ‘God’s Plan’ and ‘Diplomatic Immunity’. Follow up ‘Scary Hours II’ appeared in March 2021.
