Brian Eno has remixed Patti Smith and Soundwalk Collective.

The revered punk-poet has developed a close relationship with Soundwalk Collective, and a new Bella Union box set brings together all three of their collaborative studio albums.

Alongside those initial recordings, the box set also includes a brand new seven track endeavour, ‘The Perfect Vision: Reworkings’ – this feature remixes from a number of guest artists.

Brian Eno is among the guests, and the sonic polymath picks apart Patti Smith and Soundwalk Collective’s ‘Peradam’. Tune in now.

It’s another burst of creative energy from Brian Eno, who released his wonderful album ‘FOREVERANDEVERMORE’ earlier this year. Clash reviewer James Mellen noted:

‘FOREVERANDEVERNOMORE’ is nostalgic, melancholic, hopeful and hopeless, existentialist and nihilist. Brian Eno is one of the few artists who is able to convey the things he does by using so little, and ‘FOREVER’ is a prime example of his mastery.

Patti Smith and Soundwalk Collective will release the new box set on November 25th; it also includes a book featuring an interview with Patti Smith and Stephan Crasneanscki of Soundwalk Collective, along with photos, drawings, and a print signed by Patti Smith.
