ABLAZE Drop Killer Video for ‘Gasoline’, Shot At Melbourne’s Infamous Naked Racer

ABLAZE Come Roaring Back With 'Gasoline'

Last month Melbourne hard rockers Ablaze delivered their high-energy, big-riffed, beer-soaked brand of rock straight to your eagerly-awaiting eardrums via new single ‘Gasoline’, which is 2 minutes and 58 seconds of pure rock n’ roll mayhem!

‘Gasoline’ is pedal-to-the-metal from the get go and does not let up for a second, with the band managing to infuse all of their signature styles into this belter of a track; high-octane guitar riffs, some seriously grooving bass lines, thumping drum beats and a few tongue-in-cheek lyrics.

But if you’re going to burst back onto the scene with a full-throttled, high-octane track like ‘Gasoline’, you’d better make sure you’ve got an action-packed music video to match – and that is EXACTLY what Ablaze have delivered! And here it is…

The excitingly eclectic filming location of choice for this video shoot was ‘Naked Racer’ – a wild cross between a restaurant, bar and a museum, which is jam-packed with motorcycle memorabilia situated in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs. The band took over every corner of the place and with the filmmaking expertise of Strongman Pictures’ Dan Armstrong directing/producing and Rom Anthonis manning the cameras, they succeeded in capturing the huge energy this track embodies.

The clip was then taken to the next level with the help of a group of young bike enthusiasts simply referred to as ‘The Squad’ – well, actually, not quite. It was The *something* Squad. We can’t print what the *something* was; but for all those interested, you can bet that it started with a C.

It’d be really nice to say that this was filmed with strict safety procedures and every measure taken to make sure what happened next was performed safely, legally, and with all permissions granted…

…yep, that would be nice to say. Ah well. Anyway…

‘Gasoline’ is the brand new single from Melbourne hard rock outfit Ablaze, and will be the bands 7th music video release. Off the back of ‘Gasoline’ the band is setting out on one if their biggest Australian tours to date, so make sure to catch them when they bring their signature high-energy stage show to town!

Formed way back in 2010 when the boys were fresh out of high school, they, like every other band, began life as a covers act before getting a hunger to write their own stuff.

After cutting their teeth in any place that had a stage and would let them play, they released a debut single in 2014, followed by an EP in mid 2016 and their debut album, No Chaser in 2018. Things have not stopped since.

The band have spent the last few years gigging hard in and around Melbourne with several national tours helping to spread the Ablaze name.

They also scored incredible supports opening for John CorabiThe Screaming Jets, Electric Mary, Marky Ramone and the Jimmy Barnes headlined festival Under The Southern Stars alongside Richie Sambora, Diesel and Dallas Crane and made appearances at several European festivals.
